So I know this is out of order but our christmas in on our other camera along with all the hospital pictures of Derek. I will post that later. I was just sending out some pictures to family of our baby that I took earlier today. I LOVED taking these. It is the main reason I did a studio and I am so happy I did. Enjoy! I'll post more later when I get more edited.
Derek came to us on Jan 1st at 12:30am. He was the first baby born in Utah county which made it kinda fun. We had a interview with the daily herald and got a fun little story put in. It was such a fun day. I have the easiest labors so I can truely say it was fun. I treasure the oppertunity to have that experience. I could feel the pressence of Layne's grandpa so strong during labor. He passed away in Feb last year and we got pregnant in April. We think he hand picked him for us. He is the second boy that carries the Harris name. There are other boys that are in the family but don't carry the name so we feel special for a boy. I could feel his pressence so strong though and I will cherish that memory of it. We named him Derek Houston after Layne and his grandpa that passed away. He is such a great little boy. We are so blessed to have his little spirit enter our home. Mylee is loving him everyday alittle more. She is loving him. I'll post more later.

Okay thanks for making me bawl!!! I love the pictures! He is darling! Good job you guys....I am so jealous that you get another one!! I loved the mention of Grandpa....we miss him!!! I am sure that he hand picked sweet little Derek for you and that little Derek had a hard time getting off Grampy's bouncing knee!!! Love you guys....let me know if you need anything!!!
