Wild animal kingdom 2010 march

We decided to head out of town a day earlier then wait for the next morning. I'm really glad we did. I think with Derek the age he was it would have been a nightmare! They did pretty good. Once Derek new he wasn't getting out of his car seat it was a breeze. They watched movies on the way down and we got into a marriott late Monday night. I think they new we were on vacation. When we got into the room they we both crazy wild! My was jumping on the beds and Derek was crawling around crazy! So excited for the rest of the trip!


We went to the wild animal kingdom the first day. So Tuesday morning we woke up and headed out. We drove straight down to the animal kingdom. The kids had more fun on this merrygoround then seeing the animals. It was pretty fun but next time we will wait until they are a bit older.

We went on the jungle safari ride. It was fun to see all the animals. I thought there would be lots more animals though. Derek was completely wild and didn't want to be held in the cart. He was wanting to go out with the animals. We walked the park and got tons of exercise! It was such a workout with all the hills there. We started at the merrygoround and ended there too. The kids rode it probably 10 times! They loved it! It made us super excited to go to Disneyland! We left there and stopped by a strawberry place that was on the corner a farm. California strawberries are the best that are just fresh picked! After that we drove up to the marriott right across the street from Disneyland! My mom and dad decided to come and fly out for a day at disneyland with us! They rode the city bus to our hotel cause we weren't there yet. I was cracking up cause my dad said it reminded him of his mission but wout the chickens! I'm glad they made it to us safe even though it was only 2.50 for them both to ride. That is why I love them! My next post is going to be on Disneyland! It is super long but so fun!
