Derek 10mo.

I don't finish until I get them crying!

Derek was getting mad and when he gets mad, he bangs his head on the floor. He tests it out first and if it's soft he'll bang it hard. If it's hard he does it soft. So funny!

I decided to get Dereks chunkiness on camera before it's gone. He is starting to walk along furniture and getting so busy that it's gonna change quick. You just started to crawl normal instead of the army crawl. Finally got enough strength to hold your body and head up:) You have 7 teeth right now! They all decided to come at once. You were pretty grumpy but not as bad as your sister was. You are pretty mellow but starting to want your way more. You get really mad if you want something and can't have it. You light up when your sister comes and plays with you! You get standing up in your crib and your sister will get in with you and start jumping and you laugh so hard! Your craziness comes out when she does that. I love your grunt giggle! You love Quincy! You follow him and pull his tail anytime you can. You are loving real food now! You want to eat everything! You loved fish the other night and completely shocked your mom. You have huge blue eyes and we get comments on them every where we go. You love balls! You love to bug your sister. You want to play with her and she doesn't want you ruining her toys! Big fits from both of you! You are wearing size 12-18mo clothes. You've been in them for a while now. You just went to the dr and weigh 21.5 lbs. I think you lost alittle weight cause you got sick for awhile with the cold. You are so easy going but I think that is about to change! We love having you! These 10mo are going way too fast and I can't believe you are almost a year!

Disney on Ice

I decided at the last minute to take Mylee to disney on ice. It was SO fun! We walked in and sat down with our popcorn and drink and the show started. She didn't blink! She was trying to eat her popcorn but in such aaw that she was barely getting it in her mouth. My small camera broke so I don't have any pictures. It was one of the funnest things I've done with her. I felt like we needed a little date and it was a blast. She seriously sat there all night barely blinking with her mouth wide open. She LOVED Cinderella! I was kinda surprised cause she doesn't really know her yet. At intermission I suckered into buying her a little Cinderella doll and she is still sleeping with it. At the end of the show we were walking to the car and I was holding her and telling her how glad I was that I could go with her and she wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me the biggest hug ever! That is when I LOVE being a mom and wouldn't change a thing. I've kinda been crazy busy with pictures and it hit me that I want to spend more time with My and Derek. It was such a strong overwhelming feeling that I needed to slow down cause they are going to be grown soon! I'm glad I have that memory now with Mymy.

Bed time!

I love when you find your kids randomly in a different spot for naps and bed then when you left them! Mylee has been pretty funny lately. She LOVES her little brother Derek and decided one night to crawl in bed with him cause she knew she couldn't get out of their room. I thought it was so sweet! She still needs naps but never gets them cause she hates to take them. Some days when she really needs one she gets locked in her room and then she'll settle down and fall asleep. Here are a few places she falls asleep. She loves her Eyor too that she has in the picture.

Trick or treat, smell my feet!

Trick or treat, smell my feet (sniff sniff). Yes that is what Mylee is saying now days! I laugh my head off everytime cause after she says smell my feet, she really sniffs like she is smelling feet. So funny. This was halloween day. We went and did mainstreet trick or treat, which was packed but something to do. Then we headed over to Salem and met up with some more cousins and family and did the ballpark trickortreat. It was fun for Mylee and Derek. We then headed over to the donut guys house. Yes, there is a krispy cream dude that gives a full dozen to every kid! We waited in line for those and enjoyed every bite! It's so fun watching the kids though at how excited they are for their box of donuts! After that we did alittle trick or treating and then headed to the grandparents to see them. We go up to Laynes mom and dad's to watch all their trick or treaters cause she gets a million. She gives out beanie babies and I think all of Utah county goes there! We had such a fun night and Mylee loved it! I'm sure Derek did too. He is such a good little boy. Always along for the ride! Mylee loved the little scarcrows and witches on mainstreet again. I love this time of year!

So since I took picts of Derek as the skunk I thought I better get Mylee as strawberry! She was so in the mood to have her picture taken this time! I was having a blast shooting her! She loved being strawberry and asks me everyday if I will spray her hair pink! She was dancing and haming it up for the camera!

family party

Those of you that know me know I LOVE halloween! My house is all decorated and I love all the witches and everything about it! I decided this year to have the Banks halloween party! It was kinda last minute and I know I forgot to call some so sorry! It was so crazy getting everyone called. We had so much fun! I was pretty impressed with everyones outfits! They really did good this year. We ended up eating soup with homemade rootbeer and lots of other good stuff. I just set up tables in the garage and it turned out good. We were packed in the house like sardines but it was still tons of fun! I seriously love being with all my family! They are my friends that I call when I want to go out so the party was even funner! Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Banks they have kept us all close and we are so lucky for that! We missed them too this party! They never miss parties so there was kinda a empty spot!



We sat and played this game for hours! It's called signs and it is actually pretty funny. We had so much fun playing it and confusing the heck out of each other. I think Mindee takes the cake at not being the best! :)

Todd and Deanne as grandma and grandpa! We all about died when they walked in! We were busting up. My mom couldn't even look at them without bawling. We sure missed them this year! Grandpa just got diagnosed with Leukemia so he can't be around big crowds incase he were to catch something. We sure missed them but it was kinda fun looking and seeing them there! Deanne really pulled it off. She looked just like grandma from behind!

Ok so every year Layne and I get in a pumpkin carving contest! I have to admit I don't think I've won yet! We had SO much fun carving pumpkins though. Mylee loved it and was being such a whimp about getting her arm in the guts of it! She hated that part but loved the rest! Derek was so entertained too. We had to trap him or he would have been everywhere!
